Abakan, again

Near Abakan area, we were glad to see a new church complex. Bishop Alexander invited us to come for leading a conference. He has a desire to invite leaders and pastors from the around area to his church for the conference. We’ll try to come during our next trip to Russia.

Olga and Ludmila spent some time together. They were neighbors at teen age and had a lot to share since that time.

Also, we spent few days with Olga’s Aunt and Uncle. Uncle Sasha was diagnosed with a lung cancer and told about short time to be alive. He has a Muslim background. We shared with him about salvation through Jesus and prayed for him. He prays to the Son of God Jesus!

Later we visited them again and helped with cleaning their house and painting Uncle’s room. Four of us have a nice memory of that time together: talking, cleaning, eating, and prayer!

Nice to see family together after two years of separation… Andrey, Anna, and their daughter Alina

Sayanogorsk

What is a coincidence! In Sayanogorsk city, we met a couple from Israel and one friend from the States! We didn’t see them for about 19 years! Surprise! One day we want to visit Israel – it’s our dream.

We had good time together at the big river Yenisey.

A week later, there was an explosion at a power station a few miles up on the river. You could hear about this on news

Ulkan village

We spent few days in a small village of Ulkan. During the week, the church has small groups at homes. We had a privilage to get together with them on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. First group was more open and hungry for the Words of God. We shared and prayed about fully commitment to God and vision for the church and for each Christian.

Reliable village transportation. Three ladies used this transportation to come on time to the small group on Tuesday evening.

Worship time

Alex and Masha are coming every other Saturday from Ust-Kut city to the village. At this time, we came together with them and shared together with them.

Masha is giving her testimony. Her husband and she served at children camp at the lake Baikal couple years ago. She had an accident and her arm got damaged. She went to the hospital and was told that her fingers never will move again (disability). But Masha and Alex from the very beginning committed themselves for three weeks at camp and didn't quit (Masha was in a big pain and couldn't use her arm). Our God is faithful all the time! Masha's arm was healed in a few days! Praise God!

Fellowship.... Delicious meal for our bodies after great meal for our spirit. People came to get both. All glory to God!
