Youth festival

Youth festival in Ust-Ilimsk city! Big celebration on last weekend of June! Young adults came from other cities and villages to celebrate freedom in Jesus! Many of them were drug addicted in the past and had their testimonies. They invited friends who are still addicted so they could hear GOOD News. The topic for this conference was taken from the Gospel of John 8: 32 "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

Olga shared her message on John 8:31-32. First, Jesus told to His BELIEVERS. We should make first step: believe! Second, we should become His discipels and study His teaching willingly every day. THEN we will know the truth, AND the truth will set us FREE! We should willingly make step by step. Olga was holding thread and called for the prayer. It was a symbol to make a step to break a cycle.

Yuriy was a main speaker on Sunday. His teaching touched many hearts. Many young adults came forward for prayer. They really want to be free and perform work for the Kingdom of God!

We are in Ust-Kut

On Monday evening, Yuriy led men ministry in the church. From this point, it was a new beginning for many of men. They prayed for new blessings in their lives and new commitment in serving our Savior Jesus

This is Sunday service on June 20th. The church baptized in the river Lena new members last Saturday and had a big celebration on Sunday morning: communion.

Pastor Dmitry with his wife Marina and we are holding bread and cups for the communion proclaiming the victory of our Lord Jesus on the cross.

Part of the Sunday service - prayer for children. Parents brought them to the church to ask blessings from our Father God. The couple on the left, Andrey and Marina, prayed for their newborn son: he is sixth son in the family! No daughters, so far. The couple in the middle prayed for their twins (so far, they have 5 daughters!) On the right, Lena is holding her baby-son. He is a real miracle. The church prayed for them and God saved lives of baby and his mother. Lena had to go far away to Irkutsk hospital: local hospital is not provided with a new medical technology. Delivery was complicated. Doctors said: "Mother and baby survived just due to the miracle" Praise God. Lena and her husband Victor have 5 children (2 daughters and 3 sons). Please continue pray for this family.

The church welcomed new members. They were baptized last Saturday.

You can see a small group of believers in a small village Niya. Yuriy ministered there on Saturday evening.

The worship group there praised the Lord from the bottom of their hearts!

Next two pictures are taken on Wednesday evening ministry: focus on family. God blessed our time together. Everyone received a fresh anointing for his/her marriage, family. Pastors of the church asked us to perform family ministry next Wednesday as well. We will do it on June 23. Please pray so God would continue to heal and stretch families.

BACK TO RUSSIA

We are excited: we are in Russia again!

On June 2nd we flew from Pittsburgh, PA to New York, then to Moscow (10 hours) and then 4 hours to Krasnoyarsk. We landed in Krasnoyarsk on June 4 at 5 o'clock in the morning local time. In the evening, we gathered with a small group of friends for a prayer meeting. It was great to start our ministry in Siberia with a prayer. Everyone could come close to the throne of God in this prayer and receive a touch of the Holy Spirit. Praise God! Also, we prayed for the children event that has been scheduled very next day in the city park.

Ten children teams participated in different kind of sport games. Christians from different churches of the city Krasnoyarsk brought their children and unchristian friends to the heart of the city (beautiful island) for fun and friendship.

On Sunday morning we ministered in a small church. They are renting café for the church services. It's a great opportunity to invite friends to the place like this: café next to the rail station. This small church started rehab center in September of 2009 and is working with people addicted by drugs and alcohol. Few rehabilitants went through the program successfully and are adapting to the real life

At the evening we celebrated the birth day of 3 years old son of the rehab’s leader. Rehabilitants were invited for picnic together with people from the church. Delicious chicken tights prepared on fire were the best chicken in the world!

Leaving for the long term mission

First Thanksgiving for our grandson Simon (he is 16 month old). Our son Konstantin with his wife Anna and son is getting ready for a long trip to Russia. We are blessed parents: all of our children are serving God and performing every possible work for His kingdom.

The family got together to celebrate Thanksgiving and pray for approaching mission work. Here are our daughter Natasha with her husband Andy and son Jonathan and our nephew Maxim with his wife Galina (young couple ministered in Ukraine for about six month). Every one was excited about what is laying ahead of Konstantin and Anna.

It is a long term of mission's work in Russia and our kids are taking a lot of belongings with them.

After the prayer in the church, the worship leader was excited and gave them his tambourine to bring it back to Russia. A few years ago he ministered in Russia at about the same area, Irkutsk region.

We gave them a ride to the airport in Atlanta and enjoyed the last minutes together.

Of cause, they wanted to take even more luggage with them, but...
