Sayanogorsk city

During June and July of 2010, we ministered in Irkutsk region of Russia. Then for three weeks of August, we ministered in Krasnoyarsk region (the neighbor of Irkutsk region) and Khakasia republic. All of them are still the East part of Russia, Siberia, with a cold winter and very short hot summer. Many buildings do not have air conditions ... and people "enjoy" hot temperature.

This youth group performed a musical concert as evangelical event in the downtown of Sayanogorsk. It became a big celebration of the youth in the small city. This concert was run in the open space of the town square. Contemporary music could be heard from the far away. The weather was just perfect for such an event! After that concert on the street, people were invited to the hall for fellowship and discussions. Who were interested came and had a great time to listen the testimonies about Jesus.

Worship team leads all of us closer to the throne of God.

The church building from the street view.

It is still under construction: step by step! Last Fall, the windows were not installed yet, but the church service was held in even at very low temperature.

Second floor rooms are designated for children services.

Happy young couple with their little son

The picture above and below are taken in a small village. There is a big problem to rent an apartment for the family or a hall for the church services. One and another lease were recently canceled and two families are working hard to get any rent.

On the picture above, the couple we mentioned about last year: Christians found them on the city waste area and brought to the Drug Rehab Center where the couple met Jesus. God has a big future for this couple and gave a prophetic word for them!

On the picture below, you can see the family of the leader in that small village. They already have a lot to build a Rehab center there. Please pray for all the paper to be done and for money to come.

Few pictures below are from the Rehab center in Sayanogorsk city - the best Rehab I ever seen so far.

Ladies room is done in the light neutral colors, nice and clean (all the time!)

Men room looks well organized, too!

Lots of work has been done in the garden! People at Rehab grow their own vegetables and can them for the winter time.

Also, they use a lot of marble pieces for different purposes, because the marble quarry is located close to them and they are allowed to take broken pieces for free. Praise God!
